Activation for Philips OneBlade nominated for Best Influencer Campaign

For Philips, we opened the Philips OneBlade tram stop for stylish makeovers with influencer Bram Krikke and renowned TikTok barber Reboir. This complete 360-degree activation is nominated in the Best Influencer Campaign category at The Best Social Awards, which celebrates the finest Dutch social media!

The campaign for Philips OneBlade was developed in collaboration with JCDecaux NL, OMD Netherlands and Crocodile Agency.

A tram stop for stylish makeovers

On October 24th, 2023, Bram Krikke and Reboir opened the first public pop-up barber station for a day on Leidseplein in Amsterdam on behalf of Philips OneBlade. Reboir, together with his humorous assistant Bram Krikke, helped mustachioed passersby with a style upgrade or transformation. Tips and tricks were shared by the two style icons to bring to life the home barber in all (young) shavers. In addition, passersby could find inspiration for new mustache and beard styles all week long by scanning the QR code on the tram shelter, using an interactive, digital filter to discover which look suits them.

With the opening of the barber tram stop, Philips OneBlade showed the importance of expressing one’s individual authentic style and gave the barber profession a large real-life platform. Omnicom PR Group was responsible for the publicity of the campaign.

Nomination for Best Influencer Campaign

The explanation of the nomination for Best Influencer Campaign from The Best Social Awards is as follows:

“In addition to Bram Krikke himself, his iconic mustache has also become very famous. The influencer is therefore the perfect person to star in a campaign for Philips Oneblade, to introduce young men to the razor. If there is anyone who encourages people to let their hair down and experiment with their looks, it is Bram. This campaign became a big hit with a lot of likes and views.”

The Best Social Awards will take place on February 1st, 2024 in Amsterdam.
