MSD: Employee Recruitment Campaign at Boxmeer

The European Excellence Awards are described as Europe’s Leading PR Awards, honouring the most outstanding achievements of communication professionals in their field. Omnicom PR Group NL is proud to share that our work in 2021 has been nominated in no less than three categories!
The employee recruitment campaign for our client MSD was nominated in the category ‘Employer Branding & Recruiting’. For this campaign, our experts in the field of Employee Engagement & Change, Social & Digital and Creative Strategy joined forces to increase awareness for MSD as a company and as an attractive employer, where people can make an impact on future global healthcare that ‘changes everything’. 450 new employees had to be recruited within 3 months, for a new facility in Boxmeer. Through the campaign, MSD reached more than 2.6m people and achieved 560 applications.
Secondly, together with FCB (part of McCann Global) we supported Mastercard in launching ‘True Name’ in Europe. For many in the LGBTQIA+ community, the name on their credit/debit card does not reflect their identity. True Name enables people to display their chosen name on their card, helping ease a major pain for many in the LGBTQIA+ community. In collaboration with LGBTQIA+ organizations and influencers, True Name launched in 30 EU countries with an emotionally impactful marketing communications campaign. This campaign, supported by our Media & PR strategy experts, is nominated in the category of ‘Brand Relationship’ as well as ‘Film & Video’!
