We have once again been nominated for the EMEA SABRE Awards 2022! And that in no less than three categories, namely: Financial Services, Consumer Goods and Employer Branding.
Close cooperation with LGBTQIA+ community for Mastercard True Name
Earlier this year, the Mastercard True Name campaign won us the European Excellence Award in the Brand Relationship category. And now we have also been nominated for the SABRE Awards in the Financial Services category. A major pain point for the LGBTQIA+ community is that members of the community often do not identify with the name on their payment card. With Mastercard True Name, cardholders can now put their preferred name, and therefore their true identity, on their payment card. It was up to us to support the Mastercard True Name campaign with an impactful PR rollout, in less than three months and in thirty different countries. In close cooperation with LGBTQIA+ organizations, Mastercard ended up with a reach of 74+ million in free publicity across Europe.
‘The House of MG’ as a business card for the renewed car brand
We were nominated for a SABRE Award in the Consumer Goods category, for the car brand MG. MG Europe asked us to help raise awareness of their renewed brand and new electric models. We gladly accepted the assignment, whereby we handled the PR and communication for the brand from a specially designed studio ‘The House of MG’ – where everything breathes MG Europe. From this setting we coordinated two digital (press) events, a test drive event for journalists, as well as developed photography and videography of the new models. With this clever construction, consistent and high-quality communication was achieved in a simple way. And that has been reflected in the results.
A bold but successful choice for MSD
Our final nomination was in the Employer Branding category and concerns our campaign for MSD, the largest pharmaceutical company in the Netherlands. We developed a campaign that truly set the company apart. Instead of focusing purely on biopharmaceutical innovations and medical issues, we opted for a human approach. Stories and photographs of MSD employees at work were the inspiration and core content for this special campaign.
