Omnicom PR Group first PR agency in the Netherlands member of AMEC

May 26, 2021

Omnicom PR Group Netherlands has become a member of AMEC, the international trade association for professionals in communication that is committed to making communication efforts of organizations more measurable. This makes us the first PR agency in the Netherlands to become a member of AMEC. With this membership we want to support the strive for accountability of our profession, stimulate the reasoning behind choices and to make communication more measurable.

Communication is and will be increasingly data driven. Organizations must also be more agile. The reset of many companies now and in the future post-pandemic ensures even more focus on efficiency and effectiveness of communication. Omnicom PR Group wants to pay even more attention to this. With its membership, Omnicom PR Group endorses the Barcelona Principles 3.0 as published on the AMEC website.

Omnicom’s agency network had been a member of AMEC for years, but now we are also a member from the Dutch branch of Omnicom PR Group. Managing director Rosalinde van de Wall: “For us, our own membership is a small but logical step to make our agency focus on impactful communication even more tangible.” “Measurability has been a hot topic in our field for a long time, although too little is shared or standardized about it. Whilst business intelligence is now more than ever essential for a good communication advisor. We see the membership of AMEC as an incentive to work extra hard every day on measurable communication for our great clients. Not just in November, the month of measurability, but throughout the year ”, says Juriaan Vergouw, Research & Analytics lead Omnicom PR Group.
